Board of Directors
Wade Beavers
Wade comes to mRemedy from DoApp, Inc. where he has the role of CEO. Wade was key in the transformation of DoApp from an internet widget company to a mobile solutions provider. DoApp has flourished under his leadership with major successes in creating a local news platform called Mobile Local News and a geo-targeted advertising network called Adagogo. Previously, Wade was with IBM, beginning in 1997, where he served as a user experience architect, overseeing global execution plans for the company's small business systems offerings. He holds several patents, from bothDoApp and IBM, and has received awards from the Society for Technical Communication. Wade has a BA from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN, and a MS from Utah State University, Logan, UT.
Joe Sriver
Joe joins mRemedy as the founder of DoApp (originally named PagePow). Joe has numerous successes in his career as an early employee of Google and its first user interface (UI) designer. He led UI design for many Google products, including AdSense, Video, Print, Images, and Groups. He was also a key player in the invention of Google's Taskbar, AdSense, and Gmail's keyboard shortcuts. In addition, he developed patented technology used in Google's Print, Video, Gmail, and Desktop products. Prior to Google, Joe was with IBM as a visual designer and programmer. Joe has a BS in computer graphics with a minor in computer science from Purdue University, Lafayette, IN.
David Borrillo
Dave brings to mRemedy a wealth of technical and business knowledge. As CTO of DoApp, Dave led the development of numerous offerings that have been core to DoApps success, including the most recent mobile and web solution for real estate agents and brokers called iKenex. Previously, Dave served in a variety of technical positions at IBM. He recently led a global team of software engineers (US, China, Mexico) to design, develop, test, and deploy an information delivery application. Dave holds degrees from Michigan Tech University, Houghton, MI, and University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, Minneapolis, MN.
Jeffrey Torborg
Jeffrey G. Torborg is an investment officer with Mayo Clinic's Treasury Services where he oversees venture capital relationships. Prior to joining Treasury Services, Mr. Torborg helped manage Mayo Clinic's internal startup projects and venture capital investments through the Technology-Based Ventures program. Mr. Torborg has previously served as director on a number of corporate boards including Torax Medical, Naviscan Pet Systems, Nevro Corporation and FIOS Therapeutics. Prior to joining Mayo, Mr. Torborg held positions at Guidant Corporation and Phelps Dodge Corporation. He earned a B.S. degree in BCIS at St. Cloud State University and his M.B.A. from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
Nathan Stacy
Nathan L. Stacy works for Mayo Clinic's Office of Intellectual Property, where he is responsible for commercializing Mayo Clinic technologies through new company creation and venture capital investing. He manages multiple investments in medical device, biopharmaceutical and diagnostic companies. He has over fifteen years of broad-based health care business and policy experience within Mayo Clinic, the health care industry, and the public sector. This experience includes positions with Corixa Corporation, The Lewin Group, U.S. Congress Congressional Budget Office, and Community Health Plan of Washington. He received his A.B. in economics and public policy from Duke University and his M.H.A from the University of Washington.
